Habits are such a thing, that can lift any person from the ground to the sky. But if the same habits are not good, then those habits are also fully capable of bringing a person from the sky to the ground. 


So always try to adopt good habits. Good habits don't just make you physically fit, but will help you in achieving success.

So let's begin, what are those bad habits from which it is good to stay away? Some misconceptions on these habits and some well-known solutions?



(a). Addiction to anything is not bad

  • Do you know that there are addicted people in the world who believe that, they can see the wrong things about five times and still are not satisfied


  • And even many youngsters comment on how they can give up this bad habit? Because of this a lot of the wrong types of thoughts keep coming to mind, and it has many side effects. On this, Gary Wilson writes in one of his books that many years ago the wrong things were largely in scope, as most of the content used to be available in magazines.


  • But with increasing technology, it has become difficult to regulate. And due to which energy is continuously decreasing in people, the focus towards any work is also decreasing, while stress and anxiety are increasing. Although technology also has many benefits, but only if it is used properly.


  • Well, that is a different topic, we come back to our topic. So, when a lot of content of anything is found on just one search, then it is not even known when it becomes an addiction. After which many people also try to give up this addiction, but they are not able to leave. Because of this, a method called No Fap came into research. And on which it was given that if a person controls himself for at least one week, then his inner strength can start increasing.


  • Due to which many people tried this method and it became a huge community on Reddit because people were benefiting a lot from it. As the focus of those people started increasing. Some people considered it as a challenge, which the Reddit community used to help.

 
  • Such as people can use browsers that have the facility to block, 
  • can read some good books, 
  • people can go to outdoor sports, 
  • hone their various hobbies, 
  • And can do exercises, 
  • which help increase their strength. And by this, there is also a chance to connect with a clean and clear environment.


(b). Reading books is a wastage of money

  • Would you believe that there are still many people who consider buying and reading books as a waste of money? On this Burak Hedges writes in his book "Read your way to rich" that which book can connect with us, nothing can be said.


  •  And it is possible that for someone, a single sentence of a book can prove to be effective. For example, William Clement Stone was a simple salesman, and he knew his shortcomings that there are many things that he does not know.

William Clement Stone used to say that a concept in this book connected with him very much. And that concept was "creating mastermind", which means to create a group of people in which we can think together. 


  • Clement Stone told that this concept led to his complete transformation. He understood that he could hire others for the things he was not good at. And with this, he later became a successful businessman


  • So, a good book not only enhances reading habits but also helps you to be successful.


(c). Ignoring your financial health


  • Many people ignore their financial education and start their business with only academic education, which is not right in many ways because before starting any business, it is also very important for you to have a proper financial education.


  • On this, Robert Kiyosaki says that he was earning more money than his father at a very young age. While his father was a Ph.D. and was the head of education in his state. But he was fired from his job because he was honest. 


  • After which he opened a franchise with his colleagues without any financial education.

(d). Not saying no to anything

  • It means trying to be good at every place, and putting one's own and family's priorities behind to achieve some kind of success.


  • Robert Glover says in his book "No more Mr. Nice Guy" that many people have this Nice Guy Syndrome. So that those people want to tell everyone that they care for everyone. With which they will not say no to anyone, due to which they themselves become disappointed many times.


  • It is not that being good to ourselves is a bad thing, we should always try to improve ourselves, but not just to show off. 


  • So instead of being nice over there, be honest. And along with work, give equal importance to your family and yourself, exchange good thoughts.


(e). Staying with a negative person or environment

  • According to Next Habit, let us begin with an example, suppose that you have to cross an ocean and reach somewhere with the help of a boat. Two people are offering you their boat to reach your destination, both are also saying that they will reach you soon.

(f). The best thing to do nothing

  • It means not moving, no exercise, and thinking that it is useless. So, let's shake this, to understand more about this,


  • Once an experiment was done at Naperville South High School, in which the students were divided into two groups (Group A and Group B). Group A students were given exercise a little before the English class to increase their heart rate. Whereas the other group i.e. Group B was allowed to sleep before going to class.


  • Group A students did not like to exercise in the beginning, and many students even complained that exercising causes a sweaty smell, which they do not like. But when the comprehension test of Group A students was taken after the exercise, their score increased by 17%. While the score of Group B increased by 10%.


  • Dr. John Ratay says in his book "How Exercise Will Improve the Performance of Your Brain" that whenever we exercise, we gain strength. But at the same time, our brain releases a protein called BDNF, ie brain-derived neurotrophic factor.


  • In the 1990s, scientists observed that if they put a protein called BDNF on brain cells in Petridish, new branches of those brain cells grow. And those branches have the same structural growth, which is required for learning. In short,

(g). Addiction towards food

  • Addiction to anything is always bad. Whereas addiction to food means craving to eat again and again and because of this, it becomes easy to become fat.

And everything becomes difficult due to weight gain.
